Help Us Reward the "Good GuyS" in Our Community

We've found the Good GuyS in our community who will receive a collaborative space renovation worth $20,000!

The Good GuyS award recognizes the most effective nonprofit (501c3) boards of directors, one in Maricopa and one in Pima counties.

The winners were selected based on a tallied score from a questionnaire, the judges’ review of the answers and public voting.

Be sure to check back in the summer to see the results of the space makeovers.

PHOENIX – Maricopa County – Winner UMOM New Day Centers

Congratulations to UMOM New Day Centers, a nonprofit that provides homeless families with shelter, housing and support services, as the 2013 winner of the Goodmans’ Eye for the Good GuyS Board Governance Award.

Goodmans selected UMOM, the largest homeless shelter for families in Arizona, because its board of directors has been effective in strategically planning for the organization’s sustainability.

Design of UMOM’s renovated collaborative space by Goodmans will begin shortly. Goodmans, Adolfson & Peterson Construction and AVR will provide the services and products for the renovation.
