Thank you to those participating in the 2013 Goodmans’ Eye for the Good GuyS Board Governance award. Goodmans Interior Structures is encour.aged to learn about the significant number of Arizona nonprofit leaders, who are striving for excellence.
Goodmans Interior Structures is searching for the most effective board of directors of a nonprofit organization and rewarding them with a brand new $20,000 collaborative work environment including new furniture!
Two 501c3 boards of directors, one each from the Greater Phoenix and Tucson areas, will receive the Goodmans’ Eye for the Good GuyS Board Governance Award.

ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation

Goodmans has partnered with the Arizona State University (ASU) Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation to develop the Good GuyS assessment questions. The questions are derived from the ASU Lodestar Center’s “Principles of Effectiveness” tool with a focus on Board Leadership: mission, vision, values, strategic planning and financial management. The Center is committed to helping develop knowledgeable and well-prepared governing boards. Developing organizational capacity lies at the core of the Center's mission. Board governance is key to a nonprofit organization's effectiveness.
